It is a known fact at least in my family that the girls who fought so hard to get the education are the ones who are helping the parents; both financially and mentally and the boys are no where to be seen.  The boys are too busy fighting with their wives trying to make a dicision as to what set of parents deserve more help.  Since the boys take more than one wife, they have no control................LOL

The boys thought they were in control; the last laugh is on them.................my $0.02

Lol QS : galpower.  It certainly is that way in ma house!  too many females!!!!

Conceptx - hear you @boy.  I think God took pity on a would-be boy child and decided against the torture the poor mite might've had with me for a mom!

Tiica - ma family has been blessed - there's never been a situation where gender has been an issue way back from ma parents too. In fact ma aunts broke the rules cause they did all things viewed to be only acceptable to men and ma grandpa (RIP) allowed it, for instance eating chicken etc in them days was considered not a done deed by women, but ma grandad would poopoo that and let them just tuck into chicken, education etc... Sadly I never knew ma paternal grandpa cause he died before I came about - I really think he and me would've hit it off!

Hello Wamanya,

No the gals are different ages, the tallest is their eldest step sister.  In fact she used this opportunity for some of her academic projects.

Oh yes, i say again and again, EDUCATE THE AFRICAN GIRL CHILD and Africa will move to better times and place. SB and QS thanks for supporting the girls get the education. I agree that when the girls  finish their studies and get a job, they  give more financial helping to their homes. Success from Tiica
