education , education, education, poor pupils of primary schools always on the walk to school. but those in the rural areas its worse. they leave home early morning on an empty stomach and walk 5 miles to school , then classes, no lunch, then again 5 mls back home , thats 10 mls, it time to bring back the goats , collect firewood and water and then suppper at 8;30PM, and tired they go to bed ,,,no night study and no parafin. and tomorrow back to class....... for how long,,,,, they just give up schooling.... its the hunger and the long distances. God bless rural african, it a long way to freedom
It is our duty to change this. I used to walk to school but not on an empty stomach. Those who were privileged need to help out.
It is the parents responsiblity to see that a child goes to school fed even if it is muwogo

Munange naomi, some of diz kids in villages lost all parents 2 da pandemic and war. I saw a family of 7 kids the older was 10 yaz old preparing the rest 4 school.can u imagine a child looking after children!!!!With all those artists in Ug. we are waiting 4 Sir Bob geldolf 4 a cocert 2 raise cash 4 such kids. so sad!!!
