Kampala wakes up to a haze. If this isn't a sign of  air pollution in Kampala, then what is? Can u spot Bombo Road area, Nakasero, Kololo Hill & Old Kampala?

This is the annoying thing about Uganda and Africa in general. Living in a tropical climate, we can ill afford pollution and destructive environmental practices. But then the governement is hell bent on industrialisation which means more pollution. This haze must be from the diesel fumes from cars and generators. I wonder when people will wake up and plant more trees to combat pollution.

Thanx Nanganda. Planting trees alone is not the solution 2 our environmental problems. Completely avoiding pollution in the 1st place is the best solution. If every car owner in K'la took a matatu  (or even better a bus) 2 work there would be far much less pollution. When searching for ways of reducing pollution, we should carefully examine our own lifestyles 1st.
