Kabaka's lake as viewed from the Lubiri ring road near the palace's main gate. Also check out the lousy driving. Did u spot the white car partly hidden by the boda-boda overtaking the black estate? Further down the bend is an approaching saloon. Would u guess wot happened next?

The white car swerved to avoid the oncoming car and ended up in a ditch on the right, having sent the poor pedestrians scurrying for their lives!!

Are there proper driving tests in Ugs?  I know you can buy a driving permit easily- so does anyone ever pass their test?

I refused to buy such a permit. I drive using my British 1. I tell u all drivers in UG need 2 go back 2 skool. Those who drive reasonably are mostly the timid, new drivers. To drive in K'la u have 2 be aggressive. Driving here is turning in2 a contact sport.

Please anyone have access to museveni and his cronies? When these people travel to Europe.Do they learn anything or they are just bakoopi and baguulu? Why our roads in the city appears like Buikwe roads where I hail? Why can't we have road designs like in Holland .ie. Pedestrians' path, bicycle path and vechiles? Where is the Ministry of works? Do they have engineers or bonnabagaagawale corrrupt belly officials. On side of local people, it seems people are living in a cocoon of ignorance to allow themselves develop a sense of care of their lives and the country. Every has abandoned that country. I travel there once every year, but you have to keep quite otherwise. It appears our people are dead in developing this country. Everyone is grabbing all sides. No Nationalism. We need Nasur type to clean, tidy up the city in the orderly way. Seya lacks ideas but to travel abroad frequently. God bless our city roads.

Dude, Seya has tonnes of ideas but he is working with thieves in KCC and thieves in Government. Uganda is infected totally with Musevenism. Musevenism meaning being a thief; dishonesty is the way of life... anyone even in the village knows how to chit; also musevenism means, it is only Museveni who knows everything in Uganda. Everyobne else is primitive(according to M7). Even kids. So nothing is ever going to work for Uganda. Sorry but they got themselves a primitive bunch of leaders. But the good news, they are all getting old at the same time, they will die out the same time. They will dissapear from the face of the earth like Bachwezi. And that is soon in our lifetime. LOL Lets keep praying guyz.

Mr. Jako, stating that Seya's failure of implimenting what he promised to the Kampalans is down to Musenism is total rubbish. Seya, came to power with a tinted record which is reknown internationally. However, because in Uganda most of us have been brought up in eras of mafias, such record made him a hero. And for some of us thought that if he  can prove  the critics wrong then in 2011, the DP job can be his. But as they say "a leopard will never change its skin." Insead for M7, at least he has managed to create a society with class which had never existed in the history of Uganda. That means someone goes to work aiming to reach some where.

I understand where you are comming from about Seya. You got to be his hater, but thats not the problem. You have failed to realize that no one even in the first world buys a house cash, a car cash, unless if he/she won a lottery or inherited welth. The so called class in Uganda buys cash everything. Do you ever ask yourself how they made that kind of money to buy houses $400,000 cash? How did they get that money? Do you ever ask yourself how much a top civil servant earns geniunely a month as his/her official stupend?

Ugandans know that all the working people are thieves one way or the other. So M7sim is eaying the nation slowly but surely.

You should look at Seyas manifesto before you utter such as you did in your last coment.

Uganda now is a gone case, the president himself doesnt care.look at the debts they'v got(5 billion) and you cant stop asking yoself wat they'v honestly spent tht money with, can you? the government has failed to build up he coiuntry but they r jst securing there retirment.seya tried to bring up a good point but the government cdnt help him en the ugandans themselves r big headed,i think uganda needs a president like Kagame, who cares about his country not wats on the acc.

Ugandans, lets forget who has done this and that. the reality is a common man needs the basic neccessities like good roads, hospital, schools and governance of the law. All the Uganda politicians are 'prostitutes'. They don't care about the wananchi. FDC is composed of NRM crooks, DP is composed NRM once upon time ministers rejects and UPC is the mother of NRM. So unless,we Ugandans wake up and reject all these people. Nothing is going to go ahead. Seya promised alot, but he and other civial servants plus politicians are liars. KCC has no money because museveni removed graduate tax knowing KCC cannot survive without gov't help. Museveni killed developments in the city. DP made people idles by mourning always than encouraging people to work hard. FDC is another westerner group coming. We need a fresh politicians. Kampala and Uganda can develop with it's small resources. But we are leaving in a cocoon of ignorance made by our tiger Politicians. We don't people like Kagame. His opposition is weak and intimidate his opponents with the past genocide allegations. Kagame will be worse too. Watch the space.

We need nationalism not opportunists like our politicians NOW. Uganda Politicians take politics as a job not as servants. Kitalo......!!!!

Well, the white saloon swerved to the left and caused the black estate to brake sharply. They both misses the approaching dark saloon by a whisker. The guyz on the boda boda congratulated the errant driver on completing his feat without a scrape.

'Oyo omusajja abaza!' was wot I heard the boda boda operator say 2 his passenger.

Moses, tesi i'll come back to your lame  excuses. Kaks indeed almost all driver in UG need to go for refresher course you inclusive lol...[jesting] What happens is people who learn driving from peoples cars and then  just pop into our roads as trained drivers, they do not have an idea wht traffic laws and regulations are all abt the picture is a classic example of that.if you notice even the boda guy is driving in the middle of the road!

Tesi, moses and the like we've been down that road if you wanna help your motherland walk the talk! the banyankole have a saying 'Omuhiigi wa haare taramura ogwe embwa' Now you will talk till cows come home whats wrong with Uganda but unless you act nothing will work. So my brothers give us the ideas not the criticism. critique where needed but avail the answers as well!

Nakiwojollo, I agree with the walk the talk bit.

However, despite the fact that 99% of the boda boda chaps have no clue of how 2 ride safely, I think this particular 1 was trying to avoid the pothole just infront of him and so veered in2 the middle of the rooad.

I did not like his attitude and comments about the errant driver at all.
