More crafts.  I believe some of the craft came as far as Nairobi and Kigali to be sold here.

You are not far off on your take on where the journey these crafts travel.  I recall on my visit to this very market, persons bringing stuff over from Kenya . Interestingly - you get Kenyans in "kikubo market" who come across specifically to trade back stuff to Kenya !  East African community already in operation I say!

This stuff is beautiful and doesn't come cheap!

The one thing I found was that crafts brought in by the Kenyans cost more and yet they were not that supperior to Ugandan products.  I tended to go to the small villages and bought my crafts there.  I actually bought mine from a local craft person and I paid a fair price.  One of these days I will take some pix and post.  Actually I can post one right now.
