Thanks Fiona. Always good to hear the views on ground!

See a while back, I wasn't sure what was what. Reports were: Queen wasn't about to come to the battlegrounds of Kla what with rascism and natives teargasing each other and then it was like - it's on - she is to visit.  Personally I was more keen for Prince Charles - see I'm hoping he'd find himself another Camilla in Ug so as to keep my eco dream of Ug in shipshape!

Now getting back to them CHOGM build-ups - I say good we have the hotels - we can build on these to house future conferences in EA.  See Ugandans are getting to be very good at playing diplomats to African issues...As for the roads being done up - this too is good news.  Air traffic is bad on the air pollution. Besides, nothing beats the view of driving past locals who are very obliging with their goodies!  Ariel view cuts this off see..  Also, perhaps we can get the drains sorted out in and around the city.  My only gripe is the closure of the the craft place...

All in all, the skyline view is coming along.  Queen is not that naive - she's seen far worse places over here that are window dressed prior to her visits so I shouldn't worry too much about her going away thinking we don't need any money in our coffers to develop....lol

Preparations made so far are in the right direction and pretty impressive. It would add more value if the northern bypass would be complete. Guys need to paint commercial blocks well, and tidy up telephone cables and electric cables flying over their parappet walls, and windows. Bravo!
