Does that mean the matatus will be phased out when the buses arrive. If not, I don't see why we would need 2 start hiking yet.

Indeed Pioneer Easy Bus consortium is own by a Zimbabwean National. Shipment for the Buses has already started from Asia and they expect to have 150-200 Buses here by end of july,by september they should be operational. I  Hear all you do is buy a ticket for a day or Week and you can travel anywhere in town. Matatus are gonna be phased out eventually but as of now they will be ferrying pple to Bus stops outside of the city centre and the bus Will take over

Sounds good but lets wait and see how it works all i can say its a good idea Twakoowa taxis . Hopefully politicians and other money makers wont kill this biz.

Re: Are you ready for the buses...

Zimbabweans can not run thier own economy, it's spiraling out of control with inflation at it's highest in the world. Not even manage farms they got for free. How are they going to run the Ugandan business in such a complex city like kampala?
