After everything you have been through, you have risen like Maya Angelou's poem, 'Still I Rise.' You are still following your dreams to boot and representing Uganda. You are a star in the making. I am proud of all these Ugandans who are making a difference.  Keep your head up Mirembe. The sky is the limit for you.

Ps, plantains are different from the green bananas that matooke is from - but they too are just as delicious when ripe and fried cajun style with rice & peas!

I am going to do the very best that I can achieve my dreams.

Right now this all I think about, just achieving, aspiring, and being the greatest I can be.

I will no doubt be representing Uganda all the way.

Mirembe, you are so beautiful.....very lovely and quite talented.  Your story is very touching and we are so very proud of you!  Please come visit Uganda very soon, we would love to see you in person and who knows someone could even set up an TV interview for you if you wished, am sure many Ugandans would love to hear all about you and your wonderful work! 

I am not only bragging to my non-Ugandan fellow ladies on a certain private message board, but I have been making a collection of photos of all the Ugandan women even in the diaspora who have made an impact and Uganda proud, I am so thrilled you are gonna be one of them!

I am hoping to visit UG next year with my family. I would very much enjoy a television interview whilst I am there. I think would be an amazing experience.

It means so much to me that me I am making my fellow Ugandan's proud.

I would very much like to see the collection that you have made of all the Ugandan women that you feel have made an impact. Not to mention made Uganda proud!!! :) I am blessed to be a part of that collection, thankyou for the oppurtunity.

I will contiue representing Uganda as best that I can.

If you recall in the interview, I mentioned an audition that I was attending. Well guess what?!

I PASSED!!! :) :) :) I have now gained entry to one of the UK's top theatre school's.

Yes, I have seen this article.

 My Aunty who recently went to UG told me that I am on the front page!

She will be bringing me back a copy.

Although I am told I may be able to get a copy here in the UK on Monday, which would be great.

I am very excited and pleased about the direction my career is going at present. 

I wonder what will happen next??!! :)
