    Investment challenges.

    Hi everyone, how's the going?

My investment idea is to make natural remedies for all if not most illnesses and diseases, i am going through nursing school right now but i will tell you that i believe in natural cures more than drugs as a means of healing, i believe that one of the main cause of poverty in Africa is financial constraint in the race to compete with first world countries. We have forgotten all about our ability to heal ourselves and instead resorted to taking medication inform of drugs which cost us a great deal. However the problem i have as an investor in public health is finace , i have no clue on how and whaere to get the money to begin with. Am still in school but if i could right now i would start as soon as i got help. I was looking at a government contract to render the financial support but i wonder who has an idea on where to start, it might be a begining of a whole new world or healing in africa. I have written a whole book full of ideas on what to produce for what illness, i just need the support to start the project. meanwhile all the natural resources are home in Ug. Help Help Help guys, take this road with me to health freedom. Thanks.

    Re: Investment challenges.

U got a brilliant idea! Like many other potential entreprenuers u need 2 find a source of finance. Being a very new venture many people (individuals) will find it very risky to put their money in it. Your best option may be a charity thats involved directly with people or your university where u are studying from. You could start as some one conducting a research project into natural herbs... Am sure if u talked to someone in your faculty, some one may point u in the right dirrection.

    Good luck.

You may find that in fact you don't need that much money to get your idea off the ground. Have you considered carrying out trials of what your are proposing then presenting the results to would be funders?

That may involve you travelling to UG for instance, identifying a community that is willing to participate as well as the herbs/remedies that you would like to promote and then charting progress.  A sort of before and after of say Malaria incidences in any given community!

If it's going to be it's up to me

Thank you for your opinion, as you can see, this has limited so many of us entreprenuers abroad from coming home and doing big things. About coming to Uganda and making it happen, is the way to go for me, i will definitely give it a shot.

    Thanks guys
