Hey. Looking at the pic above, it appears there was a bushera sipping marathon going on...

Vision, that makes 2 of us about the bushera taste. In high school, our version (in the form of porridge) was called 'kyuugi'. We had kyuugi-making   grandmasters and novices (I tended to be in the later group). The Super Grandmaster in the whole skool for a longtime was a guy called Kimbugwe aka Uncle Kyuugi (he was a burly guy).

Did u notice the empty gourd in the pic between the kids? I am sure that was the goat's gourd. She well and trully beat the human contestants at the bushera drinking marathon and was now looking for more interesting stuff 2 feed on - grass.

That was a great article however there are a few alterations I would like to point out. The Bakiga use Akasisi (instead of enkyeeka) and orushare (a bowl made by cutting the gourd into two).

There is another flavour of obushera butoko that honey added it and  is known as Enturire.

There is a  tale of a mukiga woman who took her virgin daugter to a party where they had more than enough of it and they both blacked out. On coming around, girl was heard asking her mother " Maama, abaranywa enturire barajuba amayasha?"
