    Re: Sonja

     Hi Sonja,

I have so much to say but first i shall introduce myself.

I am a ugandan living in Germany since 1982. I am not married (will be soon) and i have two children.

I am a proffessional Hairdresser (Friseurmeisterin) and own a shop in Köln.

    So so much about me.

I was so so happy to find your letters. I read your letters from the very beginning and couldn't believe that someone from Germany knows so much about my family.

Ich schreibe jetzt auf deutsch weil.

Sonja ich melde mich gleich ich muss arbeiten,

    Lg Jowa

    Re: Sonja

We have been having a number of technical issues with the site which resulted in my not working on "Letters from Sonja" for some time.  Those tech issues are almost over and we shall resume very soon.  I believe Sonja is waiting for me to catch up with her. ;)

    Re: Sonja

Hi Qsheeba, of course I am still checking in ugpulse, but mostly I have a rather quick look only. I am doing OK according to my age, but at the moment I have to go through many medical check-ups. They cost me a lot of time. I have not beend working on my letters for quite some time, but I will carry on. I see so many new things on ugpulse that are of much more interest to most readers than my letters.  I also am quite aware that I still owe you a reply to your last e-mail. As I want to talk about a problem that bothers me, the reply takes some time. If my health allows I am planning to come to the States in July.

     Love and peace - Sonja

Hi admin, I noticed some of the the technical problems. Don't worry and don't be in a hurry with my letters. You have so many interesting things on ugpulse. I am sure they are of a far greater interest to the readers than my letters. On the other hand I hope that I can carry on for some time.

You are doing a great job. Congratulations! With best wishes to you - Sonja

It will be so good to see when you make to the USA.  Hope your health improves soon.  Does it mean you have not been hiking at all.  You are a remarkable lady.  Some of us who are older on this site enjoy your letters because you have such a remarkable memory of how Uganda used to be.  I'm sure the young people in here enjoy it too.

    Wish you good health......................Q

Admin great job keep it up

    Re: Sonja

     Hi Sonja,

sorry i took so long to reply. But here i am again.

I am the first granddaughter of Ezera Masembe Kabali (Kabaka Yekka Member) and also the first granddaughter of Blasio Kalule (Miria Obotes father).

So because of this I am very eager to talk to peaple who were in Uganda at that time when it all sort of began.

My father was the eldest son of Blasio Kalule (he was killed during Idi Amins Regime) and mum is the eldest daughter of Masembe Kabali.

My daughter Vanessa finished Abitur and is now doing ( ein Ausbildung als Änderungs Schneiderin).

My son will soon start (ein Schreiner Ausbildung)

Sonja you mentioned that you sent me a mail, i have not received it yet. Can you try again please?

    Lg Jowa

    Re: Sonja

Dear Nakayiza, I am glad you came back. I am sorry, it did not work with the e-mail I sent to you. I have just now sent you a second e-mail. In case this again does not work, I give you my e-mail address as follows: sonwink3@aol.com

I want to congratulate you on your two children. They really seem to be doing fine. They both will make their way in the chosen fields. I think there is a great demand in both fields.

Looking forward to hearing from you - Sonja

    Hello Sonja

Where are you hiding.  I hope your silence means a very nice letter is coming out soon.  You have been too busy working on it.  Just to say hello and I'm hoping to see you soon.
