African Women's Week: Her Name is Omega

    admin:

    Jane Musoke-Nteyafas,

--- thanks for this and the many other articles you are writing on UGPulse .

    Good article on OMEGA --

I have often if not always wondered why several Africans go to study to BULAYA  (Europe) or  BUMERICA  (USA) and end up dropping their  studyline of medicine or other courses even after they have got degrees in these courses, be able to cross from one line and then end up doing or taking MUSIC  AS  A  CARRIER.... and here is OMEGA doing just that , but for her its to do with what gives full meaning and relevancy to your life as an individual. Thanks for the courage to cross from Biology to Music --- you are a role model to many girls to come forward and present the AFRICAN TOUCH and the AFRICAN Talent of MUSIC. I guess its the good education you got both at home and at school that gave you the strong Ego to always go ahead and venture in new fields. I support GIRL-CHILD EDUCATION: thanks for the advancement, says TIICA= teacher

Thanks Admin, you just reconnected me to a long lost friend!! I had lost track once I moved from Maryland. Through this article I was able to get in touch. Thanks!!

I am proud to say that I went to school together with Omega, and had the privilege of singing with her in the same choir. She is indeed a blessing and a gift from God.  May God continue to use you Omega - as a channel of blessing and an instrument.
