The NILOTIC LUO,
The LUO BABITO as leaders: Is Obama carrying on the african hereditary leadership skills of his African Ancestors? Obama's Father was a Kenyan LUO and the LUO tribe is in Southern Sudan, Uganda and Kenya. In 1350 AD the LUO BABITO migrated from southern Sudan and northern Uganda and became CULTURAL LEADERS in the Interlucustrine Region of East Africa, or what today is called or better known as the area of the Great Lakes Region of Africa. They became Leaders among Bantu Tribes of Uganda especially in Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. The LUO Babiito became a leadership that ended up as Kingdoms with Kings: www.bunyoro-kitara.com.  And now OBAMA  the Luo has risen to the highest political office in the USA. Professor Ali Mazrui says this of the Luo: IN A NILOTIC EMBRACE: FROM OBOTE TO OBAMA
www.monitor.co.ug/artman/publish/opinions/In_a_Nilotic_embrace_from_Obote_to_Obama_74490.shtml

Michelle Obama,
is the grandchild  grand daughter of many generations of ancestors that left Africa as Slaves, these are slaves that were sold in America. She too has risen to become the highest lady, the First Lady in USA.

Malia and Sasha
Obama and Michelle's two young daughters will get to be in the White House. The African Child gets to live in the White House. Some mothers who gave birth to their children on election day are already giving the names Obama or Michelle or Malia or Sasha to their children. But I think that this thing of name giving is part of African Culture that names are given depending on events surrounding one's birth.

Martin Luther King
and the many African Americans longed to see this DAY  the day of the DREAM. I have a DREAM said Martin Luther King. No wonder people shed tears of joy when the news came that Obama had won the USA Presidency. It was unbelievable in the sight of so many peoples, it was like a DREAM

IN OBAMA,
The DREAM HAD BECOME A REALITY,  A MIRACLE,  A LIVED EXPERIENCE!!  and in joy they wept and shed tears of joy ....

From Slavery to Freedom
FROM THE GRASS THATCHED HOUSE IN AFRICA TO THE WHITE HOUSE
Oh GOD thank you for this Big Suprize!!

UGANDA's 46 yrs of Independence
Friday, October 10, 2008 2:51 PM

UHURU is the Swahili word of Independence.

I remember very well that Day of UHURU on Oct 9, 1962
I remember seeing the celebrations
and though I was young and in primary school
but I remember seeing the British Flag go down
and the UGANDA Flag go up as we got our Independence that day.

Oh whatever happened to the famous UHURU word we used to say
and it was that we all said happy UHURU day.
And now 46 year later we are still called
Uganda the member of the THIRD WORLD
The challenges ahead of us are many
and we must work hard as a nation for the betterment of Uganda

MUSEVENI's
address to the nation of Uganda Oct 9, 08

UGANDA'S
EDUCATION 46 yrs later

Uganda seems to be the country offering the best education in the whole region of East Africa. This can be witnessed by the many international students coming from Kenya Tanzania Rwanda Burundi Congo and Sudan. They are In Ugandas primary and secondaryschools and tertiary institutions and colleges or Universities. But are you aware that due to poverty its only the rich who can afford goodquality education in private institutions? UPE Universal Primary Education has been here since 1996 and its graduates are in Secondary schools by now. USE Universal Secondary education has been operative since 2006 and it first group of beneficiaries in S2 or 2nd year
The primary and secondary school enrolment has risen high so high that Museveni is proposing double shift for schools
~BUT WILL IT WORK?????

~Strong Tertairy Education is key to Development
There is need urgently to invest more in Tertiary Education so that more Ugandans get University education. Uganda needs many educated people with College or University education in order for the nation to fast track development. However much louder the much politicised song of UPE/USE may be sang with its drum accompanyments of Prosperity for all Bonna Bagaggawale, the truth of the matter Uganda must help the youth get more affordable College or Universiy education. Post secondary education,Teriary education, College education is key to fast tracking National Development. There must be masssive investment in education, in sciences today more than ever

~Overhaling the Ugandan Education system
http://freefufu.com/forums/t/1858.aspx
The Ugandan education system 46 yrs later needs to be overhauled to change to adapt to modern world needs and challenges and help produce JOB MAKERS and not JOB SEEKERS.Why still have the education system that has colourings of colonial times?? shall we be able to compete in the global economy and line of development if our education lacks relevancy to us and to the international community?

The END of American capitalism?
Friday, October 10, 2008 1:23 PM

Hey
with the financial crisis griping USA
and pushing on to Europe
and having its tremors felt in Asia
one wonders what will happen to the African and 3rd World economies?
It has indeed become the Global finacial crisis of the modern times!

Hey,
remember the saying:
when America sneezes then the rest of the world catches a cold!!!!

IS THIS THE END OF AMERICAN STYLE OF CAPITALISM?

UN.Chief: Rich nations must help Africa
Tuesday, September 23, 2008 10:19 AM

Africa seems to be the place
that will be hit worst by
the
current global economic crisis.

Its only a few months ago and it was the world food price crisis
and then it was also the world gas price crisis,
and now its the collapse of the major banks in the first world
as these banks are becoming bankrupt
and the major rich nations proposing to help solve this crisis
one wonders how the economies of third world countries will survive.

And now under the cloud of a global financial crisis
that began in USA's Wall Street Episode and is now sweeping across Europe,
the UNITED NATIONS Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has as of Monday Sept 22, 08
URGED THE WORLD'S RICH NATIONS TO SPEND $72 billion a year
to HELP AFRICA to achieve the UN Millenium Development Goals
which were set in 2000 and have them achieved by 2015.

The goals are mainly:
to FIGHT POVERTY,
IMPROVE HEALTH
and ensure compulsory
UNIVERSAL PRIMARY EDUCATION

UN Chief:
RICH NATIONS MUST HELP AFRICA
www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26839643

UN: says:
AFRICA COULD BECOME BREAD BASKET
www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26892852

Africa must be helped to produce and export plenty of foodstuffs
Given the right investment in agriculture Africa has the potential to become
a major food producer ratheer than be the epicenter of much of world starvation

But will the Rich nations respond positively to this call
or are they likely to be protectionist and
think of saving and preserving their economies first?

Some people think AFRICA is poor
Africans are poor because they are lazy!!
this is an insult to Africa.....
QUESTION>>>
who took away the most talented africans
and took sold and bought them as slaves?
who has syphoned away African natural resources?

The fisrt world and the rich nations have the moral obligation
rto help Africa rise out of poverty  because they destablized Africa!!!!
and failure to help the growing many third world population
will most likely lead to a catastrophic clash between the Rich and poor nations

Why is Anti-immigrant Violence Rising in South Africa and Italy?
Sunday, June 01, 2008 11:34 AM

One wonders what happened to the small village that was so welcoming to every one? but all of a sudden things have changed and for Italy and South Africa if you are no a wanaichi - citizen the get out of our land.

Did we not hear of this as well in Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom www.bunyoro-kitara.com among some people of Banyoro of Kibaale District refusing the migrant Bakiga new settlers that they have become numerous in theKibaale District and that theBakiga or Bafuruki=new migrant settlers are beginning to take key positions both politically, economcally and educationwise not to mention that they are also becoming a bigger force in numbers in the churches be it Bunyoro Kitara C.O.U Diocese or Hoima Catholic Diocese , the Moslem community or even among the Baikiriza of the Sect or Cult of Dosteo Bisaka Owobusobozi the self acclaimed God?

But with South Africa about to host the World Cup Football competitions in 2010 how will pipo view SAfrica?

Can Preseident Thabo Mbeki stop the killing of foreigners in South Africa?

OBAMA = Is USA ready for the 1st Black President?
Sunday, May 25, 2008 4:53 PM

and seeing that the American Politics

for the Presidential elections

has the key question..........

How ready is America for

OBAMA as the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT??

http://www.newsweek.com/id/138611

http://www.newsweek.com/id/138456

MICHELLE OBAMA ... the First Lady

.. a BLACK WOMAN  in Sate House?

http://www.newsweek.com/id/112849

The USA and the whole world is looking on ans waiting to see who will come to stage as the next US President. But as the outgoing British Priminister said as he left office for the new one Tony Blair, the outgoing one said or gave the most remarkable statement of the century that :

 "WHEN

THE CURTAIN FALLS,

 THEN ITS TIME

TO GET OFF THE STAGE." because the show or the play will have ended.

Hi USA

Come on AMERICA,

Come in America, welcome to the world stage of Presidential Elections:

its time to show the whole world that Change is coming for the better of us all. As for the rest of the world we know that your presidential elections of USa is your internal affairs a matter strictly for you the Americans. God Bless America. And surely we are not Americans !!! but we are watching with keen interest on how RACE, and COLOUR will affect the stage of the Incoming President of the most powerful nation on earth and thus will give clear indicator as to where the world is going !!.  Your internal affairs will eventaully have the other side of the coin as well..... the foreing affairs!! your dealings with the rest of the world. Will those dealings continue as with Bush Administration or will the world's hope and expections for a better and more secure world be a new Leadership Relationship with the new incoming President whether he be McCain or Obama or Hilary? Some say that Obama is too young to lead and that he lacks experience!! haaa let history live to tell the rest of the story to future generations. As for Uganda, Museveni became President of Uganda when he was Young just at the age of 40 and people said he lacked experience in managerial presidential skills, and so was Joseph Kabila President of DRCongo and now we await to see what will become of young Baraka Obama.

In Swahili language

the Lingua Franca of East Africa , and of Kenya where Barack Obama's Dad comes from,

the name BARAKA means GOD'S BLESSING in Swahili, be BLESSED !!
