Oh woman of courage
Oh woman of love,
You are the MOTHER of love.
How can I thank you for your courage?
Yes the day I began to exist in your womb you accepted me and did not reject me. Thank you.
Later on you accepted the good news of the child in your womb and it was Me.
You then told God and yourself that thank God am expecting a baby, and that baby was me.
You shared your joy with your husband, and the joy of both of you was poured onto me ... I thank you for that
And for 9 months you endured all for the love of the baby, and that was me.
And after 9 months the baby was born, to your joy and the joy of the whole family.
Then you gave thanks to God for this tiny gift in your hands -- it was the baby , and that was me.
You enabled me to see colours I had never seen and to hears sounds I had never heard --- all for me.
You taught me how to breathe, to eat, to walk, to run, to sing, to cry and laugh, yes, all taught by you the MOTHER.
As I grew up you encouraged me to listen to your words of wisdom and advice in my every day life.
But above all
YOU TAUGHT ME : TO SPEAK WITH GOD
AND YOU TAUGHT ME : TO LISTEN TO GOD
TO GOD'S WORD : GOD'S WORD OF WISDOM
Thank u Maama, I know I can never thank you enough, but allow me to say: THANK YOU MAAMA.
And now am a grown up person, I look at my PAST life and I say Maama you WERE the MOTHER.
I surely look at the PRESENT time and proudly see that Maama you ARE the MOTHER.
And looking ahead to the FUTURE of my life, I see and say that you WILL ALWAYS be the MOTHER.
Yes you taught me to love , to love to love, because you are the one who first loved me.
Thank you Maama for that love given me ,and for teaching me to give that love to others.
