Detox or not?

This is an area I'm having great difficulty with.  See I love all things healthy but this takes the toll in ma dictionary of living.

I really don't want to be reminded of what ma insides look like let alone how they get to be so.  I'd much rather leave that to the surgeons were they to find it necessary to start torching around excarvating for abnormalities.  Mind you, those are many in me and don't need a torch to be shone where I'm concerned... Ma guess is, a torch would jump right back at the surgeons and protest at the torture it'd have to endure. Now hang on you lot out there about to applaud... I'm not as far gone to be written off but still!  There is something not quite right about someone waiting to take a photo of ma stool specimen after a course of detox...

Now detox is something that is an in-thing at the moment with so many on the bandwagon. Don't get me wrong - it's a good thing to undertake if thats your cup of tea and you feel an onset of introspective therapy or are downright banged up to the eyeballs and giving off negativity to all around you!  I am simply saying I do not want to have ma stool anaylsed for wateva scientific malfunction it contains!  Hell I can't analyse maself and thats saying something!!!!  Phew I can almost smell something not quite nice around here...

In detoxing, one has the choice to take the oral route (popping pills or having some tube shoved up one of your orifices to speed up the process...) I can understand why some would opt for the pill route - it's not very dignified to have your backside viewed by someone you don't know all that well...  It's kinda right in your face if not off-putting to have someone you've not dated, acquainting themselves with certain parts of your anatomy and then discussing the output as if it was the weather pattern of the geese flocking ...Hell sometimes even dating someone don't give you ample time to move on to checking out the size of your bra!

Though now that I find that I'm loosing ma mind, detox may not be such a bad idea - would this therapy have worked for world peace????

conceptx, something tells me by your advocating it's not a monthly occurrence that you are one of the converts... Thanks I am gonna take you up on the coffee and salt issue, besides, coffee makes me get palpitations but the aroma is so appealing, I find it very hard to resist it!

SB

I think I would rather have my body system with toxins than take on the risky detox procedure.

Good to have you back blogging
